Founded in 1982, by the late Jerry Alcott, Building Systems Transportation (BST), is a London-based commercial transportation and warehousing company. With additional locations in Mt. Sterling, OH, Wilmington, OH, and Allentown, PA. BST proudly serves a wide range of industries and offers reliable and efficient logistics needs to many business partners.
Beginning with one truck and one trailer, BST has grown into a national carrier, currently operating a fleet of over 100 commercial trucks and 500 trailers, while also managing 650,000 SF of warehouse space in Madison County, OH. With a team of 150 full-time employees, BST is dedicated to top-quality service, safety, and on-time performance.

Leadership Team
Brian Brady has been with BST since May of 1990, serving in a variety of roles including Sales, Operations, and Marketing. Over the years, he has witnessed and contributed to the company’s growth, driven by a strong focus on team dynamics and the development of both associates and customers. For Brian, the most rewarding aspect of his career has been watching BST expand while remaining committed to these core values.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys golf, sports, history, and reading.
Martin Cox is the Vice President of Operations with over 30 years of experience in strategic planning, process improvement, team leadership, and driving operational excellence. He has a proven track record of delivering cost reductions, improving quality, and increasing efficiency across complex operations. Martin is deeply committed to fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
He is a graduate of the U.S. Army School of Engineers and attended Iowa Western, where he studied International Business and Industrial Technology. Outside of work, Martin enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his grandkids.
Stacy Conn is our dedicated Director of Human Resources and Safety, with a proven track record for a safe working environment. She has a bachelor's degree from Wittenberg University in business management and a Certified Director of Safety (CDS) with the North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI). She has extensive experience in safety compliance, employee relations, and has the highest standards of workplace wellbeing. Outside of her profession, Stacy enjoys traveling and trying new places with her husband.
Kevin Woods joined BST in December of 2023, bringing with him over 35 years of experience in the heavy-duty transportation fleet repair industry. He is a Certified Heavy Duty Master Technician through the North American Institute in Joliet, IL, an ASE Master Technician in heavy duty trucks, and is also certified by the Ohio Association of Emergency Vehicle Technicians.
At BST, Kevin is committed to staying focused on the needs of customers while upholding the highest safety standards in the transportation industry. In his spare time, he enjoys working on his project vehicles.
With over 25 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry, Victor serves as the Director of Sales for our Flatbed Division. Victor is an alumni of The Ohio State University, Class of 1997, and has built a reputation on leadership and a deep understanding of the unique demands of flatbed transportation.
Victor's primary focus is on building and maintaining a customer base for the past 10 years. Seeking out quality partner carriers and working exclusively with them is a driven mindset that sets his knowledge apart. His leadership helps ensure that both customers and drivers receive the support they need for long-term success.
When not at the terminal, Victor enjoys spending time with family and friends out on the lake.

Driver Recognition
Every month, The BST Team nominates an outstanding driver that is recognized for going above and beyond for the team. This nomination is reviewed on their performance, safety, and overall customer satisfaction. We take the time to recognize this driver for their outstanding work ethic and display their photo in our main office.
We also nominate a Driver of the Year, which can only be drivers that were driver of the month. The Driver of the Year receives their name on a plaque, shout-out on our social media page, and bragging rights for the year.

Driver Appreciation
BST Driver Appreciation Week are important yearly events in the transportation industry. While BST appreciates the efforts of our drivers all year long, this week are opportunities to elevate our appreciation for these hard working men and women. We celebrate this week by offering gifts, giveaways, food, and handshakes from the president to the top leadership team of the company.
Driver Mentors
New drivers are paired with an experienced BST driver who is available to help with any questions or concerns they have when starting their trucking career. Our dispatch and safety teams are always available for support, but we also recognize that sometimes another driver can be the best resource. These mentors are just another layer of support we offer new drivers.

Madison County Fair Grounds
At BST, we are proud to sponsor the Madison County Fair — a tradition that brings families, neighbors, and local businesses together. Supporting the fair is our way of celebrating the hardworking people of Madison County and investing in the next generation.
Madison County Sheriff
The BST Team comes together every holiday for the Madison County Sheriff's Office Christmas Food Box Project. We accept donations that will help buy Christmas Dinner to the families in need.

BST proudly supports local schools. We participated in the Skilled Trade Fairs and helped students explore career paths in transportation. We’re committed to building the next generation of skilled workers and strengthening our community.
